BIO Sharon Phillips joined the Fox23 News team in January of 2008 as a reporter for FOX 23 Daybreak.Her job is to cover overnight news...everything from armed robberies, home invasions, fires and even murders.
Sharon graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While at OSU she was a features writer with the Daily O'Collegian and also served as the historian for her sorority.
Sharon's television career includes work as a field producer, producer, and reporter, including coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing and the Terry Nichols trial.
Sharon is a hometown girl who grew up right here in Tulsa, and she considers it an honor to work and report on stories happening right here in Green Country.
She loves spending time with her family and also her adorable dog, Buddy. In her spare time, Sharon loves to run, go shopping, read People magazine and travel to exotic places like the Caribbean. She is a proud board member of Emergency Infant Services and is also a member of Tulsa's Young Professionals.
