UPDATE -- Two Jenks elementary schools were taken off of lockdown around 5:30pm Friday after police set up a perimeter to search for a suspect near 93rd & Sheridan in South Tulsa.  The schools were locked down merely as a precaution.

Authorities were trying to serve 21-year-old Zachary Labadie with warrants when he tried to run over the police officers.  An officer then shot at the car several times, and Labadie took off running.

Suspect Zachary Labadie faces one count of assault with a deadly weapon in addition to his outstanding warrants. TPD homicide says Labadie turned himself in around 630pm and was then taken to hospital where he was treated and released for minor, non-life threatening injuries. TPD confirms the officer did shoot Labadie in the upper right shoulder. Once released from the hospital detectives took him into questioning and arrested him.

The passenger in the car was questioned and released and does not face charges.
The TPD officer who fired the shots is not on normal paid admininistrative leave because the suspect was treated and released from the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and his now going to jail.
